Premiere day for Motorola and that it completes its mid-range families. After meeting the Moto G9 Power , which boasts a huge battery accompanying the rest of the Moto G9, they also introduce us to the younger brother of the Moto G 5G Plus , the new Moto G 5G .
It is a mobile similar to its Plus version, maintaining the size of the screen and RAM, but varying the processor and some other aspect. Of course, it maintains the 5G , being a mid-range option with an adjusted price including this connectivity.

The house brands remain in the design
Something more discreet than the Moto G9 Power is this cousin of hers, with somewhat more sober colors but without neglecting reflections. What they do have in common is the square rear module to a corner, which in this case fits three and not four cameras like the Moto G 5G Plus (and we’ll see later).
Here the logo of the brand is included, in which the fingerprint reader is inserted. The back curves to the sides, unlike the screen that is flat and that integrates the front camera with a hole , being one and not two as in the Plus.
In this case we see a 6.7-inch screen and FullHD + resolution as in the Moto G 5G Plus, although according to the information that the brand has provided in this case it would stay at a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. It has HDR10 and an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
5G and super battery
At the heart of the Moto G 5G we see Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor , which is hand in hand with the modem that supports 5G. As for memories, it has up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage , although it can reach 1 TB thanks to a microSD card.
Speaking of the battery, Motorola seems to bet on its mobiles for batteries that exceed the average and this new mobile is no exception. The Moto G 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with which they promise up to two days of autonomy, having 20 W TurboPower fast charging that, according to the manufacturer, gives 10 hours of operation with 15 minutes of charge.
Speaking of cameras, we see a triple rear camera instead of the quad of the Plus version. It consists of the following scheme, adding the front:
- 48 megapixel main camera with Quad Pixel technology.
- Wide angle camera.
- Macro camera.
- Front camera with 16 megapixel sensor (2 μm pixels) and Quad Pixel technology.
Moto G 5G price and availability
The Moto G 5G will be available in Europe for a starting price of 299.99 euros , 100 euros below the Moto G 5G Plus. As in the case of the G9 Power, the manufacturer tells us that it will be “in the coming weeks”, although for now it is not clear that it will end up arriving in Spain.
